Holly Hauser was born in 1963 in NYC. She received her BFA in painting and sculpture from California College of Arts and Crafts in 1989. Working as an artist and licensed clinical Social worker, she incorporates art making into her work with children and families. In 1992 she moved to the live/work Brickbottom Artists building in Somerville, Massachusetts. As a member of this active Community Artists Association, she exhibited in Boston area galleries and artists cooperatives including Café Cezanne, Out of the Blue Gallery, Jules Place and Marquit Gallery. Her paintings have also had solo exhibitions in regional galleries including Left Bank Gallery in Orleans, Ma. Bennett Street Gallery, Atlanta, Ga., WEst Branch Gallery, Stowe, Vermont and Spencertown Academy, Spencertown, NY. Holly lives in Burlington, Vermont and works as a social worker and painter.
