‘Variations on a Dream’ includes works in diverse styles and mediums from our accomplished, regional artists. The exhibit focuses on a new series of work by David Smith: “This group of paintings have in common an autumnal theme- the colors of fall combined with the glorious chaos of disintegration that the season brings. In some paintings the air seems to take on the hues from the supernova of color. In others the shifting moods of the motifs point to the change that is inevitable.”
