Furchgott Sourdiffe Gallery in Shelburne Village is pleased to announce the opening of ‘Silver Glow’,  our annual winter group show featuring new works by Vermont artists.

The different quality of light in the depths of a Vermont winter can often alter the way we see familiar scenes. Falling snow, blanketed landscapes in broad daylight, or subtle glimmers at dusk offer a range of perception. With an adjusted focus we have the opportunity to enjoy muted tones and delicate branch-lines but also remember the vibrancy of fire and flowers.

Between Robert Bent’s ‘Winter Garden’ and Sam Colt’s ‘The Serious Moonlight’, the exhibit covers the full scope.

Join us for a reception Friday, December 2nd, 5-7pm. ‘Silver Glow’ is on view through January 31st, 2023.
