Lisa Cassell-Arms is an American fine art photographer living in Shelburne, VT. Lisa is focused on capturing the beauty of the natural world and our evolving relationship with it by reinterpreting landscape and exploring our perceptions of natural space. Her art is a meditation on the often unseen, fleeting, and transitional connections in nature, using light and selective focus to transfigure how one might perceive and experience a place. Cassell-Arms’ passion for photography began as a young teenager and has been a constant throughout her life. Her work has been exhibited in the United States and Europe, most recently at the Fotonostrum 8th Biennial in Barcelona.
