“I mainly work in porcelain using soft slab to integrate textures and patterns into my pieces with hand made stamps and rollers. My forms take root in the natural world. I have been greatly influenced by textiles and architecture from around the world. The intent of each sculpture is to excite the viewer, drawing them into a new world that merges the real with the imagined.” -Anne Thiam

All pieces are porcelain mid range cone 6 electric fired. All are hand built using a soft slab technique. They are then either hand carved or a second outer shell is added. The second layer usually consists of individually added detail.
