“I try to playfully capture the beauty of the natural world and our joyous relationship with it in my cut paper illustrations. I hope that my art rekindles memories of enjoying the outdoor world in its simplest form—vibrant colors, laughter, and hoots of pure joy.”
Acadia was born in Vermont and raised on a Community Supported Agriculture farm, an upbringing that was filled with mud, snow, and endless adventure. While she has now found a home in the rocky mountains of the West, Acadia treasures her Vermont roots and continues to deeply value living and working in places nestled amongst trees and lakes. When she is not creating artwork or working in the woods, she is out skiing in the winter, trail running in the summer, and swimming in alpine lakes when the ice melts.”
