Henry Isaacs ‘Old Road above Asiago’

Furchgott Sourdiffe Gallery was born in 1991, when we purchased the long established Shelburne Frame and Art. We transformed the Shelburne business into a contemporary, high caliber fine art gallery and integrated it with our own restoration and custom framing services that we started in 1982. And we still are here today…exactly 25 years later!
We have shown some of the region’s finest artists over this period and now it’s time to show them off in a big way. We start this celebration of being Chittenden County’s oldest gallery with “Looking Back”, featuring 17 artists whose immeasurable talents graced our walls in the earlier years.

The exhibit will open with a reception on Friday, May 20th 6-8 p.m., and run through July 5. It will feature the work of Julie Y Baker Albright, Joan Curtis, Dan Fisher, Jim Giddings, Alison Goodwin, Henry Isaacs, Hal Mayforth, Petria Mitchell, Alice Murdoch, Carolyn Shattuck, Phoebe Stone, Aron Tager, Polly Thompson, David Utiger, Laura Von Rosk, Mark Walp, and Richard Weinstein.

We are proud to have operated with a reputation for integrity and quality showcasing distinctive original art, custom framing and restoration services over these many years. This year we celebrate the relationships and outstanding art of our region that we have been so fortunate to have presented. We hope you will join us in welcoming back these truly exceptional artists.
