Miriam Adams received a B.A. in Art History from Barnard College in New York City, where she took studio courses at Columbia University. She has been working as an artist for more than thirty years and resides in Vermont. Her work has been exhibited extensively in the Northeast, particularly in New York and Vermont, and is in many public and private collections.
Miriam Adams works in graphite and watercolor on paper. It is a very direct technique, inherently simple, that allows a subtle play of line and color. The drawings are realistic in style, abstract in concept.
