Julian Sheres

in 1950. Julian Sheres was the youngest artist to exhibit at the first juried nationwide exhibition of contemporary art at the Metropolitan Museum. Sheres now resides in Sandgate, Vermont, and uses the landscape as a departure point rather than as an end in itself.
